Carrie's Walking!

I was planning to upload pictures of Carrie's first birthday (last weekend), but this week Carrie started walking! Just a few steps at first:

But now she's making it clear across the living room. The most adorable thing is that Carrie thinks that walking is hilarious! She cracks up every time she does it.

Tommy's New 'Do

Tommy HATES washing his hair. He fought us every time we tried to do it. Finally Mama gave him the choice: wash his hair or she would cut it all off.

Stepping up to the Big Leagues!

Tommy's been to to the (AAA) Sacramento Rivercats many times, but ths weekend he and Baby Carrie went to their first major league baseball game! For Papa's Birthday weekend, we went to Oakland to watch the A's play the Cleveland Indians.

To make the whole thing even cooler for Tommy and Carrie, we took the Amtrak to the game. The kids loved it!


Two hours of playing on the train sure beats two hours (or more) stuck in a car seat!

By the way (in case you're wondering) -no, we have not crossed over and become Oakland A's fans. The jersey Papa's wearing in the picture was the free giveaway at the game.

A few updates.......

So, it has again been some time since we posted. It's been a busy spring to say the least.

The most important update is that Tommy is now another year older! That's right, our little man is now officially a four-year old! Tommy actually had several birthday parties, but the big one was at the house with JMa, Grandpa Ed, Auntie Ashley, and all of Tommy's friends.

Eight Months! (How did that happen?

Baby Carrie turned the ripe old age of eight months this weekend. To celebrate, here's a little retrospective:

I think Tommy's favorite thing about his baby sister is the built-in audience. Like the other night, when Tommy invented the Barky Dog Puppet Show (complete with theme song).

We spent Baby Carrie's first Christmas at home in Sacramento. Tommy and Carrie had so much fun!
